Lieutenant Colonel John Arsenault, USMC (Ret). Mr. Arsenault is the President and founder. His thirty years of arctic experience in Alaska and Norway, reflects a proven ability to succeed in the most hostile climate conditions imaginable. Decades of experience in Prudhoe Bay oilfield development, remote location construction, ice roads and ice bridges, arctic logistics, survival and Marine Corps operations in extremely low temperatures, provide unmatched arctic knowledge and skills. Owned and operated companies working above the arctic circle. Military Service, 25 Years of USMC service, beginning in Vietnam in 1968. Moved to Alaska after returning and discharge and then re-enlisted with an age waiver to join,Company “E”, 4th Recon Bn, in Anchorage, Alaska. After completing, Army Airborne, Navy Scuba Diver, USMC Amphibious Recon and Army Jump-Master courses, was designated a Force Recon Marine (8654), and later as a Staff Sergeant was direct commissioned as a 2nd Lt, (0302) via the Specialist Officer Program, with arctic operations as the identified specialty needed by the USMC. The day after commissioning, assumed command of Company E. Led deployments to several Norway winter and Northern Edge exercises. Awarded the Navy Marine Corps Medal for rescuing Marines during a winter exercise, where the temperature was -70 degrees. After 9/11, recalled to active duty and deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq and completed his career at HQMC, the Pentagon.
Mr Arsenault is a graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff Course.
Senior Advisor
Colonel Ollen Richey, USMC (Ret). Mr. Richey is the Company’s Senior Advisor and a national defense and security expert with over forty years experience in progressively challenging staff and leadership positions including service on the personal staffs of three service chiefs and the deputy secretary of defense. Mr. Richey has extensive experience in desert, mountain and arctic operations and has participated in operations and exercises throughout the US and in Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, and Southwest Asia. He is a certified winter and summer Mountain Leader, a master rock climber and top-tier Military Ski Instructor who led the Marine Corps, mountain and cold weather unit training program and participated in three joint-combined exercises above the Arctic Circle. He is a graduate of the National War College and holds a Master of Science in National Security Strategy and a Master of Military Studies.
